Although the vacuum of my childhood is now gone I am finding that many people still have this machine in working order. The stylish silver-gray with light gray trimmings was an easy sale for door to door salesmen of the day. My mother and father had purchased this vacuum along with a shampoo machine. It was bit heavier than today's plastic canister vacuum but narrower and easy to store. No damage could be done to it.
